NEU Shiho Zanji

One of the few Shiho who survived the massacre of their clan, Zanji took the youngest children, too young to fight and defended them as they fled into the wilderness. One of the harshest taskmasters when training the new generation, few of the young samurai enjoyed learning with Zanji, but a nod or rare smile from him causes them to redouble their efforts and engage with all the more ferocity. Zanji’s skill has been eroded by years of sleeping rough in the rain and lack of proper nutrition but he still has skills that would make blademasters weep at the artistry of his counterstrokes. The Virtue system for Shiho is largely built around the old survivors of the Battle of Sagoya. Some have the Virtue trait, others will have new Virtue effects. These should allow for many combinations of buffs for the cheap Shiho samurai. Zanji also has a new mechanic that all the Old samurai will come with, he allows for a new option on the Guerilla Warfare theme, again giving more options and making the Shiho even more unpredictable.
