Size 1 is ideal for painting miniatures and small details, designed for defined contours and smooth transitions in small/medium areas. To get the most out of these refillable markers, in combination with contrast-type dipping inks, it is recommended to apply them on light surfaces or directly primed in white, which will allow this type of speedpaint to be stronger and look more intense.
